A chemical solution is applied to the skin to improve the tone and texture. After the solution is applied, the skin will flake and peel revealing more youthful skin. The Process:

1. Application of the Peel Solution:

  • The VI Peel consists of a blend of several acids, such as trichloroacetic acid (TCA), salicylic acid, phenol, retinoic acid, and vitamin C.

  • This solution is applied to the skin in layers by a professional. The acids work to exfoliate the skin by breaking down the dead skin cells on the surface.

2. Exfoliation:

  • The active ingredients penetrate into the skin, removing dead skin cells from the surface, which helps to reveal fresher, smoother skin underneath.

  • The peel also stimulates collagen production, which helps to improve skin elasticity and firmness over time.

3. Penetration of the Peel:

  • Unlike superficial peels, the VI Peel can penetrate deeper into the skin to target a variety of skin concerns, such as hyperpigmentation, acne, sun damage, wrinkles, and uneven skin tone.

4. Healing and Rejuvenation:

  • Over the course of about 3–7 days, the skin will begin to peel (usually in small, flake-like pieces). This peeling process is the skin’s way of shedding old cells to reveal smoother, brighter skin.

  • As the skin heals, it becomes healthier and more vibrant, with reduced signs of aging and skin imperfections.

  • A series of 3-4 chemical peels spaced a month apart is recommended for best results.

*Glo-Tox: combine a chemical peel with Botox for even better results (can be done in the same visit) for an additional $250
